Pianist Ying Feng debuts at Carnegie Hall, following a
season of
critically acclaimed performances at major concert halls around
the world. She will
perform selected waltzes by Chopin, Beethoven’s Moonlight
Sonata, Debussy’s Images Book 2 and Liszt’s Sonata in B Minor.

Pianist Ying Feng has made a name for herself as an unusually powerful and deeply musical interpreter of varied range, with the substantial works of the Great Romantic repertoire in particular. She makes her
Carnegie Hall debut after a season of critically acclaimed solo and ensemble performances in the United States, Europe and the Far East.
Most recently, Ms. Feng has taken the spotlight of many major concert halls while touring her native China during the spring of 2008. A major cultural magazine in Hong Kong described her as “the brightest star in the world of pianists.”
