Pianist Mana Tokuno has received wide-spread acclaim for her sensitive and insightful interpretations and her brilliant virtuosity. A few of Ms. Tokuno’s many honors include winning the prestigious Competition Internationale and the Leo Sirota Award for Piano Solo Performance at the Corpus Christie International Competition.
Known for her ability to bring a vast array of style to life, Ms. Tokuno has performed at Carnegie (Weill) Hall and CAMI Hall in New York , as well as at Symphony Hall in Boston.
Ms. Tokuno studied at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music and received her Master of Music Degree with honors from the New England Conservatory in Boston. Her first solo CD, “Beethoven Sonatas & Bagatelles” was released by GiNote Records in October 2009.
